Hult International Business School recently invited Nayla Al-Khaja, the first woman film producer from the UAE at their recent Executive Speaker Series in June 2012. Dr Amanda was the Chairperson at this event. Nayla is also founder of The Scene Club, a non-profit organization for international directors to show their films in the UAE. The Scene Club has over 3500 registered members. In 2012, Nayla is recognized amongst the Top 50 Most Powerful Arab Women and the top 500 Most Powerful Arab People.

Dr Amanda is the Presentation Skills Expert on The Entrepreneur. The winner on this show will receive a sum of AED 1 million to implement their business ideas. In addition to this, the winner will also receive professional services worth more than AED 500,000 (office space, telecommunications services, marketing exposure, management and business planning, etc).

Dr. Amanda’s talk highlighted a wide body of scientific literature that showed that women’s involvement in leadership and key decision-making benefits the people around them – within the family, community, company or country. Women entrepreneurs, CEOs, analysts, company executives and students participated in this event.
